Bill Highet

Managing Director

Bill joined apm in January 2021 as a business partner and Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed Managing Director in February 2022. He leads the business’s strategic direction and supports the continued growth of apm’s Residential, Body Corporate and Commercial divisions.

Bill is an experienced senior leader with a background spanning electricity, gas, telecommunications, manufacturing, consumer products and real estate. His career includes roles as CEO of Property Brokers Limited, General Manager Retail at Meridian Energy, and General Manager Mobile Networks at Telecom. He began his leadership career early, taking on the role of Chief Engineer at the Waitaki Electric Power Board at the age of 24.

Holding a degree in Electrical Engineering, Bill has built his career across leadership, project delivery and customer-focused roles in both start-up and corporate environments. He is a member of the Real Estate Institute and the Institute of Directors, and lives on Auckland’s North Shore.
